When confirmation of the order is received (this is to indicate that we have received your order) it does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you a design proof to approve. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Are my card details safe?2021-01-16T20:40:34+00:00

Payment by credit and debit cards are processed by Sage Pay our Payment Service Provider.

As a Payment Service Provider, thousands of businesses outsource their transaction security to Sage Pay. It is their top priority to ensure that transaction data is kept secure at all times:

Transaction security

All transaction information passed between our site and the Sage Pay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Encryption and Data Storage – Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign’s Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data held by Sage Pay is extremely secure and Sage Pay are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.

Links to banks – Sage Pay have multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

Employee access – No individuals within Sage Pay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Their systems only allow access to their most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your transaction information and customer card information is secure even from their own employees because their systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.

Do I need to send you the Regimental Cap Badge?2021-01-16T20:41:33+00:00

We hold a database of Regimental Insignia for British Armed Forces so all you need to do is write these details in the instruction box during the checkout process.

We will then send you a design proof (visual mock up of the design) to approve before starting work on your box.

If you would like a different image engraving, we can possibly do this however we need a good quality black and white image that does not pixelate when enlarged. Please contact us for further details.

Postage and Shipping2021-01-16T20:42:06+00:00

Our preferred courier for boxes is Parcelforce 48 hour Delivery and is priced according to your location, more details here.

This cost covers all postage and packaging.

We use Parcelforce as we have found they look after our boxes and they also deliver direct to the mailrooms on camp. Although Parcelforce, is mostly very reliable there are certain times when due to issues beyond their control, the parcel does not arrive within the 48hr timeline, we at The Medal Box Company are not held responsible for late deliveries.

When your box is dispatched you will receive tracking code via email and SMS text to a mobile telephone number you provided us with, when you placed your order.

How long is delivery?2021-01-16T20:42:29+00:00

Delivery of boxes will take approximately 2 weeks (14 days) from date of order.

However we aim to get the boxes out as quickly as possibly dependant on other orders.

We do require you to approve the design proof before we start work on your box and we will send this by email after you have placed the order. So please ensure you check your emails and send your confirmation back to us so it doesn’t delay your order.
